Faith Community Church was founded in the summer of 1998 by a small but devoted group of believers and pastors who were committed to creating a church that stressed scripture, worshipped with reverence and celebration, welcomed everyone, served the community and spread the teachings of Jesus and the wonder of God.

The newly formed congregation first met in an old hardware store in a strip mall on the west of Noblesville, and later shared a space with two different churches in their buildings. All the while, the search was on for discerning what God had in mind for this church family’s future.

After a long search, the land for our future building was found at the corner of Promise Rd and 191st Street. On March, 2001 a ground breaking ceremony marked the beginning of the construction on our newly purchased five acres. Plans called for phase one of the building to include an informal sanctuary (multi-purpose room), a gathering area and classrooms devoted to children’s and student ministries. The blueprints for additional phases include a larger, more formal sanctuary, additional offices, expanded gathering area and more classrooms.

By 2002 the new building was nearing completion. The congregation played an active role in completing interior trim work, AV systems, painting, furnishing, landscaping and equipping the facility.

On April 17, 2002 our Dedication Service was held in our current building located at 19201 Promise Road and was led by Senior Pastor, Al Hazen.

Since that humble beginning Faith Community has continued to expand services, ministry staff and opportunities of worship. Today, four pastors lead worship services and shepherd the growing congregation toward an ever-deepening understanding of scripture and an always-deepening relationship with Jesus and the grace of God. Elders, Deacons and the Family Council play an important role in setting direction and policy for the church.

Community groups, Bible Study classes and fellowship events provide opportunities for members to discuss and share their particular needs, praises and provide support for each other through caring, compassion and prayer.

A nursery for toddlers and babies, Sunday school and Children’s Church during worship service feature fun, educational programs led by an enthusiastic, creative and nurturing staff and volunteers... For 7th grade and above the Crew Student ministry helps students delve deeper into their faith discipline, awareness of world issues and service to the community—and beyond. The Crew activities also provide safe, supervised activities designed for fun, fellowship and reward for hard work and service.

The Praise Team of talented singers and musicians add an inspiring dimension to the worship and provide the chance for the congregation to offer praise through both traditional hymns and contemporary Christian songs.

Through a combination of worship components and styles, a congregation of deeply devoted faith-filled followers and sincerely straightforward and equally inspiring words of the Pastors, Faith Community Church provides the church family that many Christians – young and old – in Hamilton County seek.
